2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Itinerary:
Day 1:From Marrakech passing by Ait Benhaddou to Zagora:
Our tour will begin on the very first day of our two-day Marrakech to Zagora trip. Your driver will pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation in the morning and transport you to the High Atlas Mountains. And cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at an elevation of 2260 meters. Along the route, we’ll see stunning scenery and small Berber settlements nestled in the highlands.
Later, we will visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as the backdrop for numerous great films, including “The Gladiator” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. We will then continue to Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch and explore the Atlas Studios.
Next, we’ll continue further south, passing past little Berber villages and date palm trees.
Day 2: From Zagora to Marrakech via Tizi n'Tichka:
On the second day of your trip, 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora, you will wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise with the breathtaking desert scenery, have breakfast, and then return to Zarora riding camels to continue to Marrakech.
On the way, you will pass through the magnificent Anti-Atlas Mountains, the Draa Valley, and the little Berber villages. You will stop for lunch in the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon. And our 2 days trip from Marrakech to Zagora come to an end.
